Update: Registration for non-speakers closes Dec 1!

You can now download the final programme for the conference (Word 97-2003 document). Registration is still open, but closes on 1 December for non-speaking delegates. If you're looking for accommodation in Newcastle, you can now book directly here.

Welcome to AffectingFeminism.org, the website for the upcoming conference on affect in feminist theory at Newcastle University. The conference promises to be tremendously exciting, with keynotes from Ann Cvetkovich, Kate Chedgzoy, Ranjana Khanna, Alison Light, and Patricia Waugh. The deadline for abstracts has now passed -- we have received and accepted dozens of fascinating abstracts, and the conference organisation team has now finalised a programme of panels. However, the call for papers remains available as an outline of the conference's aims and remit.

If you use Twitter, do remember to follow us @affectingconf for easiest notification of those updates!
